Transfer Almaty railway station – "Sky" hostel (has a panoramic view of the city). Rest. Free time. Lunch yourself at a cafe.

Excursion to Lake Issyk. Visit to the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Issyk" (Excursion). Departure to the lake. On the way you will learn more about nature and history of the nature. After rest, lunch (example: juice, water, lunch boxes (main courses), salads, flat cakes). Trekking to the mudflow protection 2.5 hours (total car mileage on this day approximately 150 km. Trekking distance - approximately 6 km (in both directions).

Preparation and departure for an excursion to the Charyn Canyon. Lunch upon arrival at the Natural Park (lunch boxes). Excursion to the "Valley of Castles". Trekking 2.5-3 hours along the "Valley of Castles" (bus part 400 km, pedestrian part 6 km (both ends). Rest by the river. Return to the bus, dinner at a cafe on the way.
07:00 p.m. Arrive back to Almaty. Free time.

Kok-Tobe Mountain on the cable car Koktobe, a hilly area with meadow grasses and shrubs, is located in the belt of counters of the Ile Alatau ridge on the southeastern outskirts of Almaty.
Park named after 28th Panfilov heros. Ascension Cathedral the Holy Ascension Cathedral is one of the ten unique wooden monuments in the world, it is recognized as an architectural and historical monument, included in the state list of historical and cultural monuments protection of republican significance.
Museum of Folk Musical Instruments named after Ykhlas. Museum of Kazakh folk musical instruments was opened in 1980. Like all similar institutions engaged in the collection and storage of historical monuments and works of art, it is the hallmark of the city of Almaty, one of its cultural attractions. The building of the museum itself is also a monument of the history and architecture of Kazakhstan. This is an example of wooden architecture of public buildings in the city of Verny at the beginning of the 20th century, built in 1908 by the famous architect A.P. Zenkov. Big Almaty Lake BAO - a turquoise pearl among the Tien Shan mountains At an altitude of more than 2500 m above sea level, among the majestic mountains of the Tien Shan, the transparent surface of the Big Almaty Lake shines under the sun's rays. Many millions of years ago the mountains, shuddering once again from the powerful tremors of the earthquake, "gave a slack", and a beautiful lake appeared in the formed crack-hollow.

Departure for the excursion "To meet the proud Tien Shan" + excursion to Medeo. Ascent by cable car to the Chibulak ski resort. A story about the history of the appearance of ski resort, etc. Then we will continue following the cable car to the Talgar Pass with a beautiful panorama of the highlands. Majestic mountains, more than 2,000 meters high, beautiful places! Medeu-Shymbulak gondola road, Kombi 1 + Kombi 2 to Talgar pass.
02:30 p.m. Arrive back to the city. Dinner. Free time.
07:00 p.m. Transfer to the railway station.

Do not forget about drinking water and a small amount of provisions (by the way, along the way and near the waterfalls there are many places where you can stop for a bite to eat and relax - including specially equipped ones - gazebos, yurts and just platforms with tables). You don't need to take a lot of water with you. On the way there are many springs with clear water. To avoid abrasions and splinters that are inevitable when overcoming "windbreaks" in the Chin-Turgen gorge, wear long-sleeved clothing and gloves. And of course, make sure you have comfortable shoes.
What to take with you a spray for mosquitoes and ticks (ticks are activated from March to May); clothes in case of rain (raincoat or windbreaker); warm clothes (sweater, jacket); drinking water, food; camera.
